I grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, an only child with lots of time on my hands. Fortunately, I found myself at Santa Barbara City College enrolled in an introduction to 35mm photography course. Skip ahead a half decade, I've graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Television, Film, and New Media Production with an emphasis in Cinematography and an award for Best Cinematography for 2008 at the SDSU Film Festival. So, here we are, present day, and I'm living in West L.A. with my lovely wife April.
Photography is my passion to say the least. It is a driving force in my life that compels me to not only strive for excellence, but also create images that make their viewers stop and begin a new chain of thought. Whether it be a once in a lifetime picture, a wedding photo that captures the essence of a new marriage, the headshot that'll get an actor his or her first gig, or an image that defines fashion, they're all equally important and an opportunity to create a never before seen or imagined photograph. And that's what I'm about.
